Frequently Asked Questions

How does InPlaay work?

InPlaay evaluates your resume with the expertise of a seasoned recruiter,  searches the internet for suitable opportunities, applies its AI matching models to ensure fit, determines who the hiring manager is, sends your resume to them for consideration, and shares the hiring manager with you so that you can follow up and connect.

How is InPlaay's approach better than applying to jobs through job boards or automated application tools?

By sending your resume directly to hiring managers, we place your resume at the top of the pile, giving you the strongest chance of being seen. Additionally, by sharing the hiring manager's contact information with you, you are able to make a direct connection, which could lead anywhere. And becasue InPlaay ONLY provides qualified candidates for consideration, we  simplify the recruiting process and build trust with hiring managers,  thereby increasing the chances you'll get traction.

By contrast, when you apply through job boards or automated application services, you have no ability to differentiate yourself from hundreds or thousands of unqualified candidate resumes  that apply. And, you fall prey to  imperfect screening technologies and Internal recruiters that are sorting through the data. This reduces the chances that you'll be considered.

Will InPlaay follow-up with decision makers to ensure that my resume gets their attention?

Yes, we send weekly email reminders to ensure that your resume gets seen by the right hiring managers. That said, we encourage you to do the same.

We also provide a transparent view into the status of your resume submission up until the point when you receive an interview request.

What's InPlaay's revenue model?

InPlaay charges job seekers a nominal monthly fee based on the volume of opportunities and hiring manager connections we provide.

How did InPlaay get started?

InPlaay was started by Robert Braudy out of a desire to help job seekers find jobs by removing barriers associated with the job search process.
